Advanced Placement students continue to build their portfolios which they will submit to the College Board in the spring.

 

Portrait Designs | Graphite

 

Design students explore the medium of graphite while applying value and texture to create form in their work.  Student take the drawing assignment further by designing a unique approach with pattern, composition, negative space and detail.

Advanced Placement | Studio Art

 Advance Placement Studio Art students are working diligently on their individually determined portfolio concentrations.  There is a wide variety of focus and direction in the class - it is great to see the students develop their personal artistic voice

 

Collage Design

Design students begin the year investigating composition, pattern & repetition through application in unique collage designs

 

Denver Art Museum | AP Studio Art (field trip)

AP Studio Art students ventured downtown to see the Nick Cave exhibit at the Denver Art Museum, as well as the rest of the wonderful works displayed.  Students left feeling inspired to create!
