Group Grid drawing

For this collaborative project, students studied value observation and proportion. Each student received an ambiguous square of an unknown photograph and was ask use graphite to enlarge and reproduce it. When all students were finished, the pieces were fit together to reveal the image.

Original Cartoon Characters

As a class, we discussed and studied what makes cartoon characters unique and lovable. Students applied these findings to their own interpretation of themselves- As a cartoon character!!! Some students were inspired by famous characters while others invented an entire individual style!
