Space & Shape

Art & Craft students spent their first semester of the 2011-2012 school year studying and exploring the design elements of SPACE and SHAPE.  Students took time to consider negative and positive space and how they can be used to create an interesting composition while working with paper cuts, spray paint stencils and printmaking.  Students were challenged with the need to closely consider these methods and engineer their work correctly to insure the final product is accurate and successful.

Value & Form

Drawing and Painting students spent the first semester of the 2011-2012 school year with the focus and study of creating VALUE and FORM using a myriad of drawing mediums.  The semester was finished off with their first experience applying color to these elements.
